Canton is the sister city of Akron, OH. Located in Stark County, Canton has a population of just fewer than eighty thousand and a large portion of this population is over the age of fifty-five. An even larger portion of the population is under the age of eighteen. Canton has an excellent healthcare system set up with the Aultman Health Foundation. This non-profit organization offers health services to four different Ohio counties and is providing members of the Ohio health insurance system with multiple hospitals and care centers to receive quality care from. Mercy Medical Center, a Canton hospital, has one of the best cardiovascular practices in the country. Mercy Medical Center has been innovating the way cardiovascular treatment is administered.
